National Medical Cannabis Unity Conference

When: March 18th – 22nd, 2016
Where: Lowes Madison Hotel, Washington D.C.

The National Medical Cannabis Unity Conference features medicinal cannabis experts, doctors, and industry leaders who discuss topics from traditional methods and products to everything you need to know about cannabis in general.

The purpose of the event is to connect people based on the belief that “We have an incredible opportunity to change laws and set policy in motion that will result in safe access globally”.

This event is summed up as a crash course on everything cannabis.

This annual conference hosts a breakfast and lunch everyday of the event.

 

UIC Medicinal Cannabis Symposium – 2016

When: May on Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th
Where: Exhibition Hall, Rosehill Gardens, Australia

United in Compassion (UIC) is a professional non-profit organization that aims to make medicinal cannabis an affordable and legal method of treatment for all patients. UIC is comprised of many doctors and leading cannabis experts.

They promise to provide education from experts to not only support the Australians’ Medical Marijuana scheme but more importantly for those who suffer from illness and can benefit from cannabis treatments.

The subject is not spoken about enough in Australia and this event is geared to lead the revolution in the country.

The conference is very well organized with different experts hosting new topics each day such as treatment for epilepsy, cancer, the endocannabinoid system and the chemistry of botanical cannabis.

 

Lift Cannabis Expo

When: May 28th & 29th, 2016 / September 17th & 18th, 2016
Where: Metro Toronto Convention Center / Vancouver

Lift Cannabis Expo is one of the leading cannabis events in the sates which covers medicinal cannabis legalization,  the production process, business methods, strains, cultivation, and you even hear from edible experts.

This event has a large line up of notable speakers such as Jodie Emery who discussed “Running and managing a business in the cannabis industry” and Darren McCarty a Former player for the Detroit Redwings, who shares his story and how medical cannabis became ‘a priority’ in his life.

Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition

The Cannabis World Congress and Business Exposition is holding its 3rd expo this year and focuses mainly around the industry of medicinal cannabis. It is great for dispensary owners, those looking to get into the dispensary business, growers or anyone in the cannabis field such as sales or marketing.

This cannabis event also pulls together a well known speaker list with people such as Leonard Marshall former NFL player, now entrepreneur and Keith Stroup, one of the industry pioneers and founder of NORML.

Chileans are allowed up to 6 plants for at home use for medical, spiritual, and recreation purposes however, Chile still has public distribution, and trafficking laws against cannabis. This event is however the exception to the public laws surrounding cannabis and instead becomes a day where cannabis information and culture is collectively shared.
