CBD Oil – Different Types for Different Issues

Published on

CBD, or Cannabidiol, is climbing the list of natural pain relievers fast. But does the compound have other uses? Well of course it does. But not all solutions come from the same type of CBD.

Depending on the type of CBD oil you have, the uses will differ. And that’s exactly what we’re here to tell you.

The Variations

Based on how the oil is extracted, the nature of the end product will vary. There are 3 basic types; full spectrum, broad spectrum and isolate. The variants differ in basic properties and, hence, differ in what they do.

Variant 1: Full Spectrum

All the elements of the cannabis plant, including a trace amount of THC, are still present in this kind of CBD. The THC level is usually capped at 0.3%.

Uses

As full-spectrum CBD contains all the compounds in the source plant, it might prove more potent than pure CBD. For this, it has been called the ‘entourage effect‘ by the researchers.

A great number of health benefits of full-spectrum CBD have been identified till now. These include:

  • anti-seizure; helps in the reduction and prevention of seizures.
  • relieves muscle spasms
  • lessens anxiety
  • bring down the level of pain
  • treatment for psychotic disorders
  • inhibits oxidation
  • reduces inflammation

Besides the mentioned benefits, full spectrum has also gained fame for easing some mental health conditions and providing relief from muscle cramps. Recently, a new study has noted that the use of CBD in dental health conditions is also evident.

Furthermore, in some other research, it is found that anti-inflammatory, analgesic, or anti-microbial properties are there in the flavonoids and terpenes, which are present in CBD. If people are having a toothache, gingivitis, or dental caries, they may take CBD as a remedy.

Variant 2: Broad spectrum

This form has every element of the cannabis plant except for THC. It has less of an entourage effect than full-spectrum but still is able to provide a wide range of benefits.

Uses

The absence of THC means that it’s non-psychoactive. This means, it has almost all of the uses of full-spectrum, without the high. Here are a few uses that are interesting.

CBD oils for anxiety and depression

Improves Mental and Physical Health

CBD oils have become an almost go-to solution for anxiety for many. If you too are interested in its therapeutic properties, you might want to consider a broad-spectrum product.

The broad-spectrum oil contains all the healthy compounds from the full-spectrum product. Therefore, it could have a highly positive effect on neurologic difficulties and calm the mind.

Comes With an “Entourage Effect” like Full-Spectrum CBD Oil

The plant’s therapeutic properties to their full potential are used when a dozen of various cannabinoids work in synergy. This is the famous “entourage effect.” Both the broad-spectrum and the full-spectrum carry this feature named the “entourage effect.” However, this characteristic is not present in CBD isolate.

There is a high possibility the entourage effect can affect the system on a psychological and physical level positively. But more research is necessary to confirm this claim.

Provides Proper Sleep

It is proven by studies that CBD can help reduce anxiety and depression which will result in a reduction of sleep difficulties and thus will improve sleep quality. And, given how difficult getting good sleep has become in this digital age, nobody needs to be convinced of how this is a boon.

Additionally, CBD improves cases of insomnia by helping in increasing sleep amounts. The cannabinoids, found in broad-spectrum hemp, relieve some sleeplessness which is caused by normal aches and pains caused by age or exertion. Again, they not only relax your body and mind but also promote a healthy stress response and feelings of tranquillity.

As you can see from the information here, broad-spectrum CBD oil offers a lot of potential benefits. If you have never tried this product for yourself, click here to mail order marijuana Canada now. It is much easier for you to decide after being informed and knowing the potential benefits offered, whether broad-spectrum CBD oil is something you want to try.

Variant 3: CBD Isolate Oil

Without any additional cannabis plant ingredients, this form is exclusively CBD. This means that the uses are not as potent or wide as the other types.

Uses

The isolate has shown quite a few effects on the human body. The positive effects of CBD isolate that are more probable include:

  • boosting the immune system (immune-modulating)
  • restraining and counteracting the formation of tumours (anti-tumorigenic)
  • opposing inflammation that is anti-inflammatory
  • preventing vomiting (antiemetic)
  • recuperating or regeneration of the nervous system (neuroprotective)
  • reducing or preventing anxiety i.e. anti-anxiety
  • reducing or eradicating seizures i.e. anticonvulsant
  • pain relieving (analgesic)

It is indicated by several studies that CBD isolate oil can also influence non-cannabinoid receptors,  the 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) serotonin receptor. A chemical that affects levels of depression, anxiety, and sleeplessness, among others is known as serotonin.

It helps explain why CBD eases anxiety and pain in some people. One study has suggested that while CBD isolate does offer certain health benefits, however, some of these results have less effect than those obtained from using a full-spectrum CBD product.

Among the above-mentioned oils, full-spectrum CBD oil is thought to be the most effective because it contains all of the compounds that are found in hemp plants. But the other types aren’t without their uses either.

So, now that you’re armed with this knowledge, you can make informed decisions about which product you wanna use.
