The basic concept is to melt your butter in a saucepan with a little bit of water. Then, add your ground up cannabis into the melted liquid. Let the pot simmer for a couple of hours so the weed can be infused with the butter. Simply strain out the ground up cannabis and refrigerate your butter. It will be ready to use in a short while once it hardens.

This heating process will allow the components of the cannabis to fully infuse with your olive oil. Then, simply use a cheesecloth to filter out the ground cannabis before returning your olive oil to its original container.
